We took Jacob outside in the grass. He loved to pick up the leaves and run his hands over the grass.

It's Fall!!
It's fall! My favorite time of year. This is a tree on our street. I thought it was so pretty!

SDSU!
This weekend we went to San Diego to see Lacy. She was nominated along with 13 others in the homecoming court. Though she didn't get queen we were so proud of her!
Jacob was there to cheer her on in his cute SDSU sweatshirt that Lacy got for him.
Sunday morning we took Jacob to the beach for the first time. He had a great time and enjoyed squishing the sand between his toes.
La Jolla is a beautiful beach!
Derek was almost swept to sea by a surprise wave.
We had a good time but can't wait to go back to spend some more time with Lacy!

Practice!
Jacob wants to crawl so badly. He just doesn't get it yet... he can scoot backwards though.
