Moving to Japan...

This is all that Derek was able to take with him to Japan. Since he's been gone I've managed to to send him a queen sized down comforter into one small APO/FPO box. I was really impressed with myself. Poor guy had to get it all from here to San Antonio from San Antonio (where he spent the night on a bench in the air port) to Tokyo where he had to pick it up again and go through customs and get back on another plane to Fukuoka (Southern Japan). What a very very long way to go with so much luggage!

Jacob didn't want Daddy to leave.

Jacob didn't want Derek to go. We were trying to get him all packed up the night before and came down the hallway to find this. Sill boy!! I think he would have been happy to stow away in Daddy's luggage! 

His overflowing sea bag!

In a previous post I mentioned while Derek was home, I made him try everything on. He even did a folding demonstration for me. I did let him know that would always be his job though... even when we're living together! I don't fold or iron military related things! I don't want that responsibility!! It is nice to know that he can iron now! I will surely put that new skill to use once we're together again. heehee

Derek had a pretty good early Christmas this year! This was one of the many gifts he was showered with. heehee

Jacob likes to be outside! He really enjoyed playing in the leaves last fall!

Mr. Police Man!

Its been a long while... so I'm going to do my best to get pictures in order here... 

Jacob was a Police Man for Halloween last year. He won the costume party at Delyse and Jesses but that wasn't hard considering it was a party full of cops. heehee He wasn't so fond of the hat and the costume was a bit on the big side so he'll wear that again this year!
